Fridge Album Expanded for 2xCD Reissue

Catherine Lewis reports:
UK electronic post-rockers Fridge will soon have another album available in the United States. Their latest album, Happiness, was the first of their records to be available domestically, as a co-release between Temporary Residence and Brainwashed last year. These two labels are working together again to re-release Fridge's 1999 album, Eph, as a two-disc set with eight bonus tracks.

Eph was their third album and was released initially by Go! Beat. Their two previous albums, Ceefax (1997) and Semaphore (1998), were released on Trevor Jackson's Output label, along with a huge number of seven- and twelve-inches which were compiled onto a two-disc set called Sevens and Twelves. There's no word yet as to whether any of Fridge's earlier records will be released in the U.S. in the coming months.

Fridge, who had a successful tour opening for Low last autumn, despite the theft of all their gear in Massachusetts, will be playing a few gigs in the UK in February and March. Temporary Residence and Brainwashed have set the release date for Eph as late March.
